Michela Peters joined the TCMS Counseling Team in January 2024.  Prior to TCMS, she was a School Counselor for 8 years in the elementary and middle school settings in Virginia and New York. Ms. Peters worked in the clinical and institutional settings for 7 years devoted to the Monroe County Jail and Drug Treatment/Mental Health/DWI Court Programs for Delphi Rise's community-based behavioral health agency.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology & Early Childhood Education from the University at Buffalo and her Master of Education in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also certified in NYS as an Advanced CASAC, Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor.  She loves spending time with her 4 amazing children, black lab, Luna and cat, Sprinkles Lorenzo, family and friends, cooking and running/yoga/hiking.
