Mr. Mitchell has been the Prevention/Intervention Youth specialist/School social worker since 2001. Before joining the TCMS team, he was an adolescent community outreach chemical abuse/dependency counselor at Unity Health and worked as a school social worker at Spencerport middle/high school. He earned his Bachelor and Master's in Social Work at Roberts Wesleyan University. Mr. Mitchell is a New York State/ International Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance abuse Counselor (CASAC) since 1992.

He loves reading military history, collecting classic rock vinyl music, huge Boston Bruins fan, leading youth/young adult groups at church, failing at pumpkin farming gardening annually, relaxing lakeside in Southern Ontario, Canada, and spending time with his wife and four adult children (being Opa to four grandchildren).
