TCMS German Students Build Gingerbread Houses

For the 14th annual Gingerbread House building event, students in Frau Walter’s seventh grade German class learned about the origins of Gingerbread and the stories of the Brothers Grimm. After reading “Hänsel and Gretel,” they built Gingerbread houses. More than 300 students and teachers visited the German classroom to vote for their favorite house!

The first place house was built by James, Igby, and Will and the second place house was built by Addy and Poppy.
