TCMS and BHS Participate in Spring Day of Dance

Twelve Corners Middle School and Brighton High School had 43 students participate in the Spring Day of Dance  in April. The event featured different dance workshops.

For BHS students, Brighton grad Ione Minerva taught hip-hop, Brighton grad Molly Shafer taught  contemporary, and TCMS teacher Jessica Padilla taught musical theater.

For TCMS students, senior Aurora Cabral taught lyrical jazz, senior Danielle Ferguson taught hip-hop, and TCMS teacher Makaily Courtwright taught musical theater.

For each session, choreographers selected two students as "Breakout Dancers.” The following students were recognized:

TCMS Hip-Hop: Emma McGowan and Gabby Kappy

TCMS Musical Theater: Kaelyn Love and Naomi Kleiner

TCMS Lyrical Jazz: Jasmine Davis and Molly Perrotta

BHS Hip-Hop: Danielle Ferguson and Michelle Arnold

BHS Musical Theater: Sophie Pincus and Megan Mendler

BHS Contemporary: Kara Filmore and Rachel Chazanoff
